Are Traces Of Blood In Urine Normal After A Pap Test?
Question: Is it common to have traces of blood in your urine test after you have had a pap test.
Brief Answer:
Can be a normal variation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
After a PAP test, traces of blood can appear in the urine test as there can be a slight bleeding from the cervix that can mix with the urine while taking the sample. If there are no associated pus cells or any other abnormality then it is not worrisome.
