hello doctor. i had just been for a medical test. the doctor says i have an extra growth downwards from the cervix and suggested trans vaginal scan. just wanted to know what the possible cause could be. i do not have any uncomfortable symptoms so far. thankyou doctor..

Hi,

Such growth from cervix downwards can be Cervical polyp/cyst, Cervical fibroid, Nabothian cysts, sometimes a type of cancerous growth. Local examination by an expert gynecologist, per vaginal USG scan and some times pathological test like biopsy may be needed. Please consult a gynecologist.
