So if human growth hormone is decreased through puberty this could result in smaller penis growth because of adderall? What age does the penis thicken and what causes it to get thicker ?

Brief Answer:
Puberty stages

Detailed Answer:
Penis growth is decided by several hormones. Before birth, penis size is determined by Growth hormone, thyroid hormone and testosterone. There is a surge of testosterone in intra uterine life. If baby has growth hormone deficiency in intra uterine life, they are born with micro penis. Testosterone again peaks around a month after birth and this will continue until 6 months after birth. This is called as XXXXXXX puberty. Some growth of penis and testes occur during this time. You can notice babies up to 6 months having occasional erections. After 6 months, testosterone secretion is allmost negligible until puberty.

After birth, penis size is allmost exclusively contributed by Testosterone with minor ( but not negligible) contribution from growth hormone and thyroid hormone. Thickness of penis is due to the effect of Testosterone. At around 9-10 years, testosterone start peaking again and penis will increase in girth and length and the peak size will be achieved by 16 to 17 years and beyond that, hardly any growth occur.

I know we've talked about this a couple times so your pretty sure the adderall use wouldn't have affected the penis growth negatively and the shot of testosterone didn't prevent my penis from reaching its maximum size?

Brief Answer:
Not to worry

Detailed Answer:
Adderal mainly affect the growth hormone axis. And a single shot of testosterone doesn't make any impact on pituitary -testosterone axis. Please relax. Adderall and a single dose testosterone didn't make any effect on pens size

Logically , when adderall is taken it shrinks the penis due to vasoconstriction , if the penis is constricted everyday from adderall use it wouldn't interfere with growth of the penis? Please educate me.Growth hormone helps in thickening the penis ? Then wouldn't adderall have affect on growth of penis from decreased hgh? Thank you XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Adderall effects

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX This is a theoretical argument. There are no conclusive evidence that Adderall would cause growth failure. It is an assumption. Hence it is recommended to monitor the growth of child if Adderall is prescribe to a growing child. There are no reports of small penis in any child who took Adderall.

There are reports of vascocontriction in peripheries with Adderall. But not in penis.

Thanks dr XXXXXXX , would any of the bones in my body fused early because of the testosterone shot? What age does bones of the shoulders , ribcage , hands and feet stop growing.
doctor
Answered by Dr. Binu Parameswaran Pillai (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
No Chance

Detailed Answer:
Testosterone get converted to Estrogen in body which cause fusion of growth plates. In your case, you just received one dose of testosterone.

There is no chance that a single shot of testosterone would have made your bones to fuse. Most bones of the body fuse by 18 to 20 years, at the XXXXXXX 22 years.

Well I hardly took it for two years not ever consistently cause it hurt my stomach suppressed appetite and made my penis shrivel while on it. Do you think it could be the reason I'm shorter than my two brothers . I'm 3 inches shorter than one and 1 inch shorter than the other but I'm one inch taller than my dad

Brief Answer:
Genes play big role

Detailed Answer:
Could you please let me know your's and your parent's height in centimeter ? That would help me to do some calculations.
You mentioned that, you are 3 inches shorter than one brother and 1 inch shorter than other brother. Then, you must note that there is a 2 inch height difference between your other brothers too. All of you are taller than your dad.

Dear XXXXXXX our genes play a big role in deciding our height, shape etc.. Genes from our ancestors circulate in our body and you and your brother would have acquired different genes.

By around 16-18 years, hand bones fuse. Your spine will grow little more after that.
