Question: My wife is having throat allergy, warmness in eyes but no temperature, though it is higherside normal. Lactating mother. Can she take cetrizine or any other medicine?
Brief Answer:
Yes it can be taken
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
Anti-allergic medicines, particularly doxinate, cetirizine and chlorpheniramine, are considered safe during pregnancy and lactation and can be taken. She can try cetrizine. It is non-sedative and will not cause sedation in mother and baby.
Hope it helps.
