Can Lisinopril Cause Weakness?
Following the answer...
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
One of the common side effects of lisinopril use is severe joint pain which may be experienced as lower extremity. If the symptoms has gone after you have stopped this medication then the weakness is certainly related to lisinopril use. Otherwise if it persisted a week after stopping it it's not related to lisinopril use but other cause are to be excluded.
There's no known interaction between lisinopril and alcohol, however if you consume more than a drink per day your symptoms may be related / or are aggravated from alcohol. This is why I strongly recommend to reduce alcohol to less than a drink per day.
Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
