Can STD Be Contracted Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity And Sexual Stimulation?
Question: Hi Doctor I meet a girl and end up at her place 3 times in last 3 days. These are the sexual activities we do:
1) Sucking each other’s nipples/breast
2) Deep tongue to tongue kissing
3) Finally help her each in masturbation (I finger her and he too helps me)
There is no oral or penetrative sex. She told me she has dated many guys in last couple of years. Is there any chance of catching std/sti based on the activities I mentioned above?
I do notice couple of sores in the gums (inside my mouth)

Brief Answer:
Regarding your risk of STD.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
STDs are most commonly transmitted by unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex. Mutual masturbation and sucking/kissing breasts or nipples are absolutely safe sexual practices. Kissing too is relatively safe.
However, there is a low risk of transmission of HSV type-1 infection with wet kissing e.g.: with deep tongue to tongue kissing. HSV type-1 virus causes cold sores i.e., herpes labialis/oro-labial herpes.
Oro-labial herpes usually presents as grouped vesicles/sores on the lips and nearby skin. Oral cavity involvement may be present in herpes with sores on the gums and hard palate.
Hope I have answered your query.
