Brief Answer:
OCP can definitely cause this problem, individual reports with sprinolacton

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

OCP is a well known aggravating agent for melasma whether a person has PCOS or not.
It is likely to worsen melasma in persons who has a history of this condition

Sprinolactone is an anti androgen meaning that it acts against the male hormones in the body.
It should not worsen melasma but there are cases of persons whose melasma has been worsened by the use of the this medication.
There are no official medical studies looking into it as yet but there are individual case reports.

In terms of the spirnolactone, this would need to be monitored on an individual basis.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
