Yes i can understand your concern and feel sorry for your situation.
In such condition excessive fluid in the organism is common. As you provide the history you have some of the causes of fluid retention such as,heart failure, sepsis and probably hypoalbuminemia .The dranaige of the liquids needs some time and is more difficult if the heart fumction is not so good.
Pericarditis is better evaluated by echocardiography not by chest x Ray .Probably it might be fluid in your pleural space too.Diuretics are another choice for the excessive fluid but i think you are already using them.
However your treating doctor knows better your actual clinical situation and os doing the best for follow up.
I encourage you to continue using oxygen and current treatment. You have already passed the worst and now on is the recovery even slow.
