Can I Have Primolut N To Postpone Periods?
Question: I had taken meprate tablet twice a day for 5days to preponderance my periods. But I still haven't got my periods even after 5days of stopping it. Can I use primolut for postponing now?

Yes primolut or primolut N is used to postpone periods. But for that right dosage and right schedule is required.
If such patient comes to me, I generally ask to start primolut before 7 days from the expected date of postponing periods. It can be taken twice daily and might be continued till the day one wants to postpone periods. Periods start about 7 days of stopping the drug. You can safely take it.
You can consult your treating doctor/gynaecologist for prescription and further advice.

My concern is, is it okay if I take tablet to postpone now? Because I have already taken tablet to prepone.. won't there be any problem?? Will primolut n be effective in postponing my periods at this point? If yes, then when should I start taking it.
