Brief Answer:
a couple of weeks should be OK
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
most tests won't be affected by your condition and its treatment (probably). Some tests - like glucose for example - may become affected though, so letting a couple of weeks pass before doing the tests is recommended.
Kind Regards!

I finish up amoxicillin 250mg about 4 days before test. She wants me my Dr. to have blood work done real soon.I will take a chance to get tests done few days after finish antibiotic. If glucose is affected she will have me redo the glucose test.My Dr.watches my glucose closely anyway.I hope this will be OK have tests done few days after finish antibiotic. If glucose is affected she simply will have me return to retest glucose.I hope this is OK?
Brief Answer:
it's OK
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the additional info.
Glucose levels may be affected when the body fights an infection or when an inflammatory process is active. The glucose levels return to their usual values when the inflammatory process ceases. If after completing the antibiotic course, the infection has fully subsided then the results will probably be credible. If you get high values then a repeat measurement would be recommended.
Kind Regards!
