Can Ureaplasma Cause Miscarriage?
Question: I have just had a 11week miscarriage in my first pregnancy. After that, my doctor sent Culture and sensitivity for my vaginal fluid, and found I have ureaplasma and for high vaginal swab I have enterococcus faecalis.
I am wondering if these bacterium esp ureaplasma cause this miscarriage.
I was first found my baby no heartbeat and stop growing (baby size only 8 weeks and a half ) in my 11 week routine pregnancy check and I have no any discomfort at all. My doctors said if the baby is infected and killed by the bacteria, the baby would dropped out from my uterus but not my case: found no heartbeat for several weeks but still in my uterus. I was just wondering if there is special condition just like my case if the baby is infected and killed by ureaplasma or enterococcus faecalis.
Thank you very much for my long question.
