Brief Answer:
Yes,

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

There are various medications which can help to reduce weight but problem with every medication is that they have side effects and rebound weight gain once stopped.

OBIREX, this reduces the carbohydrate absorption. It causes severe gastric and intestinal disturbance. Sometimes the sugar level may drop below normal and can cause serious problems.

Orlistat, this reduces the fat absorption. This can lead to deficiency of hormones and enzymes which need fat to be synthesized. Also, it can alter the balance between good and bad cholesterol.

LEPTOS, this reduces the hunger. This has many neurological side effects. The most unpleasant one is, once the medication is stopped there can be rebound increase in hunger and lead to weight gain at a faster rate.

Hope, I answered your query.

Regards,
