Child Having Circular Bruises On Legs Without Injury. What Could It Be?
Question: my daughter has circular bruises appearing on her legs for no reason.What could it be?

It would be good if you can clarify the age of your daughter.
I answer the question presuming the age as 28 yr old. Let me know if there is a change.
The causes of spontaneous circular bruises on the legs in a 28 year old lady can be as follows
1. Venous hypertension leading to early venous ulcers .
2. Blood disorders like thrombocytopenia (low platelet counts) .
3. Infection due to streptococci.
4. Raynaud's diseaseor any autoimmune disease like SLE
5. Bazin's ulcers which is idiopathic (cause unknown)
6. Pressure sores due to inadvertent tight stockings or allergy to its fibre material.
We would need to follow up with an examination and certain basic tests like a complete blood count.
