Developed Painful Pimples On Forehead And Cheek. How To Get Rid Of This?

default
Posted on Sun, 4 Nov 2012
Question: I have developed a problem of pimples in last few months. I have faced pimples in the past but it was just once in a while and never painful. From past 3-4 months my forehead and right cheek has persistent pimples and it pains when fresh ones are coming. I am scared that these will remain with me forever as marks and the old pimples are not drying out.
Can you please help me so that i dont get new ones and get rid of the ones already there.

Hi XXXXXXX ,
Thanks for writing in.

Acne is caused by hormonal imbalance.
Blockage of sebaceous glands causes papules and pustules.

Before suggesting you treatment I would like to know-
Since when you have this problem?
Is your menses regular?any problem related to menstrual cycle?
What is your weight and height?

answer the above questions to help you better.

Acne is treatable now. With correct treatment all your pimples ,
scars and dark spots can be treated.

To start with you have to apply Brevoxyl cream twice daily .
Also you can use anti acne face wash like Brevoxyl face wash.

Avoid any hair oil to hairs.Avoid any other moisturizers or cosmetics.
Use good quality sunscreen like SUNCOTE gel daily while going out.

Please provide the details for giving you specific advise.
I will be available for follow up.

Hello doctor,
Thanks for writting back.
I have developed this problem in past 3-4 months.
My menses are regular and on time; no issues there.
I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and my weight is 63 kgs.
Just to mention i have switched my creams and facewashes in the recent months but it was to controll the problem. I have started using a non-greasy fairness cream and a natural neem haldi powder for face wash.
Hope my inputs will help you giving more answers.

Thanks

Hi again XXXXXXX

Thanks for the details.

Its good that you dont have menses issue. Also you are not overweight which is good.

My Advise to you would be -
-Do not use any fairness cream and neem face wash at present.
-USe Nexret (0.O4) gel at night time over scars and black marks.
-Also use Clindoxyl cream at day time over whole face.
-Apply small quantity and do not rub.Pea size amount is enough for face.
-Use brevoxyl face wash twice to thrice a day.
-ISOTRETINOIN is a wondeful drug .Dose and duration and can be decided by examining your face.Consult a good dermatologist who can offer you procedures like Salicylic peel and dermabrasion. These are very effective for acne.

-Eat one fruit every day.Drink lot of water daily.Protect face from sunlight and dust.Use very little or NO oil over the hairs.Keep your face dry and clean.

Hope this helps.
I will be available for follow up.
