Do Cut Veins In Varicocelectony Heal Back Themselves?
if a man has varicose vein on left testicle side. and has surgery but if surgery is done, but not using the ligatation ties to put on the veins during surgery.... but question is.. if you cut the veins during surgery and leave it without ligatation will the veins heal back to how it was before surgery, but same as before surgery still varicose (bag of worms) but without the veins being attatched? would those veins heal on its own back to how it was before surgery of the veins???
Get another ultrasound.
Detailed Answer:
Good Day and thank you for being with Healthcare Magic!
If you had a varicocoelectomy (surgery for varicocoele) then there is no way you can cut the veins without ligating it. If you do that then blood would spill and the bleeding wouldn't stop on its own.
After varicocoelectomy, the dilated veins in the testis should decrease in size and it should definitely be better than before the surgery. The bag of worms should not be present anymore. I would suggest getting another scrotal ultrasound with Doppler to check if there ka reflux of blood in the veins.
