Do Missed Periods And Intermittent Spotting Indicate Menopause?

Question: I'm 45 years old. I had my daughter at age 37, and I adopted as well after having much infertility and miscarriages. I have PCOS and diabetes. And endometriosis but they took care of that. My last period was in April, and it was the worst. It hurt SO BAD. I hadn't had a period prior to that for at least 4 months.
Since then, no period. I can see that my body is trying to, at times. Just tinged blood. My Drs office did some test on me several years ago indicating I have an immune disorder. My mom has rheumatoid arthritis. But she didn't go through menopause until she was 52. my dr gave me blood tests a year ago which indicated I was not going thru menopause( my periods were sketchy even then). I already have an appointment with a gynecologist tomorrow. Is this something you've seem? Going through menopause this early?

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
You maybe going in premenopause,a stage before proper menopause and it can continue for 5-6 yrs.before menopause.
So it can be a possibility in your case and that is normal.
