Question: I am on 20mg celexa and I drank too much yesterday. I didn't even realize how much I had. roughly 7 drinks in 5 hour time frame. I blacked out. :( now today I'm worried that I might die from suddenly just stopping, so I'm afraid to nap.....is this possible? last drink was 8:00 last night.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry, remain relaxed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

Alcohol should be avoided while on antidepressants. Your last intake was last night and alcohol absorption occurs rapidly with in hours, and it has been metabolised already, so no need to worry. You will not die just remain relaxed. Avoid heavy alcohol intake in future. No need to fear from going to sleep.

Thanks. Take care
