Brief Answer:
About synthroid overdosage;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
Synthyroid or levothyroxine represents the thyroid hormone normally produced by the thyroid gland.
An over dosage may cause increase of the metabolism rate manifested with; increase of the heart rate, sweating, weight loss, diarrhea, insomnia ect. but it does not effect the blood pressure.
You need to stop treatment for some days and restart at a lower dose if it is necessary to take it.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
