Brief Answer:
Your child seems to be doing fine

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the details as well as the reports provided by you.

I do not think that you have anything to worry about. There is a phenomenon called gastro-colic reflex which may make a child pass stool after each feed. It is normal and not a cause of concern. All you have to do is to replenish for the amount of salt and water lost, by giving adequate amount of fluids. You need not stop Zincovit or Cholecalciferol for that and these are unrelated to his passing stool after each feed.

I would not suggest any specific precautions. Just maintain proper health and hygiene and things would be fine. The child seems to be active and developing fine, so you need not worry.

About the weight gain, I would suggest periodic recording of weight at 3 or 6 monthly intervals and to plot the recordings on a growth chart. A single measurement of weight does not convey anything. But if the tracing joining the weight recording points follows the desired line, there is no cause to worry about. In case it does not happen, specific interventions might be required. Your pediatrician can help you in this follow up and can also guide you with these interventions if they are subsequently required.

About food habits, please continue the mashed food, but remember that gradually you need to acclimatize the child to solid food. Avoid chips and other junk food. You may give sugarfree rusk biscuits to the child to bite upon and that might ease the gums that might be sore due to teething.

Your hypothyroidism or the complications prior to the child's birth would not be causing any problems. Since you say that the child is super active, you can ask your pediatrician to evaluate him for ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) but chances are that the child is normal with nothing to worry about.

Hope that helps.

Thank u . Regarding ADHD.... He is super active n full of energy all the time follows regular sleeping time.... His teacher says he doesnt sit in class to listen to wat s being taught but answers when questions are asked. At home also he s super active but sits n watches a three hr movie or a 1.5 hr animation if he thinks s interesting n repeats dialogues along with it or sings along with it. Most of tge time he self learns...like he would point towards anything n ask what is it? Learns from apps n games on the tab been doing this since two years. Still do u think he wud have ADHD or any other complication related to prematurity?

Brief Answer:
Could still be ADHD

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
First of all, I would request you not to panic. Some simple medicines and behavioral therapy can keep ADHD in control. The diagnosis of ADHD cannot be made simply based on the little details that you have provided. He needs to be assessed properly and only a pediatrician can do it after closely observing your child. The fact that he can watch a 3 hr movie at a stretch does not exclude ADHD, as a matter of fact many children with ADHD would be able to do the same. I do not think that any of the current presentations are related to premature birth.
Hope that helps.

Brief Answer:
Home based behavioral therapy can be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
You have already assessed the child as could be done on your part. The rest needs to be done by a doctor.
About home based interventions, looking up the following information would help:
