Yes, amlodipine besylate 5mg tablet can lead to erectile dysfunction in up to 2 percent of patients.

In Erectile Dysfunction conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, hormonal deficiencies and neurovascular compromise problems should be looked for. A Doppler Ultrasound of penis can be advised to look for any vascular compromise if present, in this regard. This workup should be initiated if the Viagra, Cialis etc did not show any improvement.

Smoking and excess alcohol consumption are detrimental to good sexual health and should be avoided altogether.

Hello again.

As I explained in my previous reply, there is no single root cause. Blood flow inadequacy, peripheral neuropathy and performance anxiety including psychiatric issues can be the precipitating cause.

Epidydmitis if severe cam cause hindrance to flow.
CPAP use is not associated with ED.
