Does Intake Of Naproxen Cause Swelling In Lower Legs And Hands?
Question: I am retaining fluid does Naproxen Sodium pain medicine have a side effect that would cause this swelling of lower legs and hands?

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing swelling that is not responding to lasix. You are concerned that Naprosyn maybe causing the swelling. The answer is most definitely yes. Any of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications will cause swelling. I would recommend stopping the naprosyn and see if that stops the edema. For pain use tylenol it will not cause swelling.
