Does Uterine Fibroids Cause Pain In Legs?

So my questions to you are:
1: Is this the reason for Swelling in Mom's Foot?
2: ESR and Thyroid are also high for Mom (See report "Mom All Reports - 13 Oct 2014") so is this also related to ESR or Thyroid
3: If this "Small Intramural Uterine Fibroids" is reason for this Swelling
3.1: then how can it be treated?
3.2: Is Operation required?
3.3: Can this be treated through any Medication?
Doctor please try to answer my all above questions
Thanks
XXXXXX
not related to fibroids
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX after going through all the reports it is definite that -
- pain in her legs is not due to fibroids because fibroids present in her uterus are very small to cause any problems like that
- her ESR is slightly raised but when correlated with other reports like TLC and DLC it is an incidental finding and has no importance
- her thyroid hormone levels are normal.
Reason for this problem is most probably related to age and thus degeneration changes which are very common.
She should take
- ample amount of milk to have good amount of calcium
- eat soyabean, walnuts and almonds to give her good estrogen
- drink plenty of water.
Also get her examined from a surgeon for early stages of varicose veins which can cause such symptoms.
All the best

Just to avoid any miss-communication i want to repeat once again that there is "Swelling in Foot" not "Pain in Legs".
and also please explain a bit what is "varicose veins"
Thanks :-)
surgeon check up
Detailed Answer:
In people who stand for long period of time at a stretch or those who are genetically predisposed develop dilatation of veins of lower limb and thus develop swelling and pain in lower limb.
All investigations are normal so just get a surgeon check up and then we can discuss the reports.
