Done Abortion. Put Nuvaring. When Will It Be Effective?
Question: I put nuvaring in 7 days after a first trimester abortion. When will it be effective?

Nuvaring is a hormonal contraceptive.
It takes 2 to 3 weeks for the hormones to start acting and inhibit ovulation.
For the first month of Nuvaring use, you are best advised to use a backup method of contraception, ideally condoms.
From the next cycle onwards, you could rely on the Nuvaring.
