Eyes Roll Back In Head And Getting Headache. Is This The Sign Of Migraine?
Question: my sons eyes roll back in his head and he gets a headache when this happens could it be migraines? YYYY@YYYY
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
If headache appears just when he roll back his eyes, then is very unlikely to be migraine. He needs more detailed neurological exam with ophthalmological examination to rule out intracranial hypertension ( early signs of increased intracranial pressure: pain behind the eyes globes accompanied by headache, transient visual disturbances, ).
His physician will decide if he needs more tests additionally. Important keep under control seizures, (because headache can be as a post seizure complication and appear lately) continue the prescribed medication.
I wish him good luck and speedy recovery. Feel free ask if you have additional queries.
Best Regards.
