Felt Some Pressure In Groin Area. Noticed Swelling And Blood Blisters. What Could This Be?

Question: Hello, so tonight I was laying down. I felt some pressure in my groin area where the thigh meets the scrotum. While checking it out I noticed what appeared to look like a blood blister about 2mm in diameter, and it was swollen all along this crease of the groin and thigh. When examining further it squirted out blood about 4 feet in distance when slight pressure was applied. It is painfull and now feels raw in the whole area.
Hi there.
This appears like a hematoma(blood clot) that has just got drained.
Are you perchance overweight & if so, the thighs rubbing/friction may be responsible.
If not, then please do visit the ER & get yourself examined by a surgeon to rule out any underlying infection & arterial issue given your pain.
Might i suggest starting on an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen 400/600 mg oral after meals three times/day to reduce the pain & inflammation.
An antibiotic may be in order but will require a prescription & in any case a visit to the ER/doc in order. Cheers!
Wish you Good Luck & great health to follow!
