Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Headache can be caused by various problems. Some of them may be very minor and some very serious.

I require further questions to be answered by you to answer your query batter.

Since when are you having this problem?
Is it recurrent? Or Is this a isolated event?
Is there any nausea or vomiting associated?
Do you have any problem like cold, cough, fever etc?
Are you a known hypertensive?
Which part of the head you have this problems?
Were you under any sort of stress recently?

Please reply to the above questions and also mention your problem in detail so that I can answer your query better.

Normally a simple analgesic may be sufficient in a case tension headache along with some relaxation. However, other major etiologies should be ruled out.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
