Have Blind Spot In Eye. No Pain Or Redness. Any Solution?
Thanks for writing to XXXXXXX
I have gone through clinical history, as you said there is a blind spot in right eye and no complaint of pain or redness of eye. By this clinical history I am suspecting these possibilities.
(1) Retinal detachment.
(2) Retinopathy may be diabetic/ tubercular.
To confirm this you are advised for -
(1) Ultrasonography of eye
(2) C.T. scan of orbit.
(3) Doppler study of eye ball.
(4) Blood - CBC, ESR, blood sugar - Fasting & Postprandial, Elisa test
On the basis of inferences of above investigations and their co-relation with clinical examination findings one can reach to final diagnosis which can be managed accordingly.
Hope I answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
With Regards.
