Having Mild Chest Pain With Burning Sensation. How To Get Relief?
Thanks for posting your query.
According to your description the cause of the chest pain is more likely to be gastroesophageal in origin for eg gastritis , reflux or esophagitis .
Though cardiac chest pain or respiratory disorders are other possibilities they don't seem likely if you have no other associated symptoms like breathing difficulty , breathlessness on exertion , cough , palpitation etc .
Nevertheless they are the more worrisome causes and any sudden or prolonged or worsening chest pain needs to be evaluated further (Bp, ECG and X-ray chest) to rule out such causes.
As of now its best to consult your physician who can confirm the diagnosis by examination and if required investigations .
Depending on the cause the treatment may vary.
Meanwhile you can try to decrease your discomfort by having an antacid ( esmoprazole etc) twice daily , drinking plenty of water , avoiding spicy or oily or caffeinated foods .
Avoid stress and physical exertion and try breathing exercises for better relief.
Please do not neglect your symptoms and seek prompt consultation in case you develop any associated symptoms like breathing difficulty , headache , tingling numbness in limbs , palpitation , cough etc .
Hope that answers your query.
Please feel to ask any further doubts .
