Having Type 2 Diabetes. Having Flu And Has Developed Cellulitis. Taking Bactrim And Injected Antibiotics. What Is Next?

Thanks for asking.
Diabetes is a difficult disease to control,as the blood sugar levels depend on some many things that even small changes in day to day life can adversely affect the sugar levels.
The fluctuations are more so when the patient develops some infection,as the body's normal response to the infection is to increase the stress hormones which in turn increases the blood sugar levels temporarily making it difficult to control with the regular medicines which patient was taking before.
To makes the things worse, even some antibiotics used to treat infections can compromise the sugar control.
The only way to get around this is to check the levels more frequently and adjust the insulin levels accordingly ,by the time body is able to get rid of the infection with the help of antibiotics.
Thanks.
