How Can A Rash In The Genital Area Be Treated?
Question: Am 88 male. have rash surrounding genital area. On foreskin, sac and 2 plus inches of surrounding skin. Slight itching. Good hygiene. Warm shower using body wash daily. No sexual contact or activity for several years.

Perhaps you have a fungal infection of groin i.e tinea cruris. I suggest you to use a topical over the counter (OTC) antifungal cream e.g clotrimazole 1% cream, twice daily for t weeks. You may also take an oral antihistamine e.g Tab. Cetrizine 10mg once daily for symptomatic relief from itching.
