Erectile dysfunction is often associated with oxidative stress, which impairs endothelial function and reduces nitric oxide bioavailability. Vitamin E is known to be a fighter against oxidative stress. So it has been claimed in studies to be helpful in Erectile Dysfunction.
However , it also acts a placebo and helps psychologically in Erectile Dysfunction. This is because the most common causes of Erectile Dysfunction are Diabetes and Psychogenic Erectile Dysfunction.
So there is increased oxidative stress in Diabetes and hence Vitamin E can help.
Usually Evion is prescribed in conjugation with Sildenafil in Erectile Dysfunction.
There is no definitive role and we don't find it much helpful if used alonr if we talk about clinical practice.
