How Long Does Permite Cream Take To Be Effective Against Scabies?

Question: My Question to Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Dermatologist. As advised by you for the scin problem called scabies, i have been using the creal called Permite of Galderma. Thogh the problem has not increased but almost nill improvement in terms of cure. it remained as it was.kindly advise whether i should still wait for another two to three days or will have to change the medicine.

It takes time for total cure.
You don't need to apply permethin daily.
In night Apply it all over your body below neck and sleep.
Wash it in morning and wash all clothes and bed sheet in hot water.
Repeat this procedure after 15 days.
You can take antihistamine tablet daily to control itch.

i am not able to understand why should i apply in whole body below neck. i think you have mistaken the case. the affected area is two fingers in right hand only. please go through the earlier photograph and advise. and am worried because there is no or very less sign of development.

I remember your photographs.
Scabies is caused by mites ( small insects).
If you apply cream only in affected area there are chances that the mites may escape to other parts of body.
These microscopic insects are also adherent to clothes hence I asked you to wash them in morning.
Please follow the procedures.
It might take one month for complete recovery.
