Question : I am recovering from PMR. How long does it take to regain full strength?

Unfortunately recovery time after PMR is still long and can take up to one year.

Prednisolone improves symptoms, but does not affect muscle recovery.

Appropriate physical therapy helps in recovering muscle strength and shortening recovery time.
