How To Deal With The Withdrawal Effects Of Dalmane?

I have been two well known psychiatrist and they didn't want me back on Dalmane or any of the other pills. I presume I guess I withdrew and they didn't want to start again. I am so afraid to ask them. My husband does not know I am talking to you and I know what he would say. I don't know what to do. Will I be able to correct the withdrawals without starting Dalmane or will it take longer.

Detailed Answer:
It is certainly a good thing that you are off Dalmane. At your age, Dalmane and lorazepam both contribute to cognitive decline, memory loss, falls, fractures, oversedation, and as you know, withdrawal over time. I think the issue here is that if you are having tremor, this may indicate that you are still withdrawal. The other problems you list -- weight loss, problems hearing -- these can be caused by other things and are not related to the medications you are on. You need a physician to evaluate your tremor in-person to determine if this is a normal age-related essential tremor, or if this is withdrawal. If it is withdrawal, you need to be on a temporarily higher dose of either Dalmane or lorazepam and be slowly weaned off.
