How To Get Rid Of Anal Skin Tag?

Question: I have what may be an anal skin tag. It appears just outside the anus(but I believe it does touch it). I have had it for approx 3 years, and don't know which type of dr. to see. I had a colonoscopy 7 months ago (fine) and a physical 4 months ago, though I did not bring it to his attention.
