Hi,

Rabonik 20 contains rabeprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor used to treat acid-related disorders such as GERD and peptic ulcer disease. AKT (short for Anti-Koch Treatment) contains a combination of antibiotics used to treat tuberculosis. Supradyn is a multivitamin supplement. Long-term use of Rabonik 20 can cause some side effects such as headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and increased risk of bone fractures. However, these side effects are rare and usually mild.

Long-term use of AKT can cause some serious side effects such as liver damage, hearing loss, and peripheral neuropathy. However, these side effects are rare and usually occur with higher doses or longer treatment duration. Regarding your wife's case, she has been advised to take these medications for 9 months, which is a standard duration for tuberculosis treatment. It is essential to complete the full course of treatment to ensure complete recovery and avoid the development of drug-resistant strains of tuberculosis.

Regarding pregnancy, it is advisable to avoid pregnancy during treatment and for a few months afterward. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare provider regarding the ideal time for pregnancy after the completion of treatment. Overall, the medications prescribed to your wife have some potential side effects, but they are generally safe when used as prescribed by a healthcare provider. It is crucial to follow the treatment plan as advised and regularly monitor for any adverse effects.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
