How To Reduce Weight?
Question: Hi dr,
I am 32 yr old female with two kids. My weight in XXXXXXX reached 90 kgs and I decided to work out. In 1.5 months time I have reduced 8.5 kgs almost. Now my current weight is 81.5-82 kgs. I have noticed that from last 1 week it has become stagnant and not coming below 81.5 kgs inspire of regular work out and controlled diet intake. What could be the reason? Please tell me if I can reduce it further. My height is 5 feet 8 inches. I am anxious about my weight becoming stagnant. Please advise

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
I am happy to see your motivation for your fitness.
Now the fact of weight loss is that when you start workouts , your weight falls drastically.
But later your weight loss speed reduces and you tend to loose weight slowly.
In my opinion, you should not get anxious and start weight training now.
You would now slowly and gradually loose your weight.
The best is to go slow and safe and be consistent with exercises.
I really don't find any reason to worry.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
Wait and watch.
