Irregular Use Of Femodene. Having Spotting. Pregnancy?
Question: I've stop using the pill Femodene in January 2012, then started using it again in mid March. In mid April 2012 I stop again. Have some spotting now. Would like to know if I could be pregnant?

Oral pills like Femodene taken intermittently only for a month gives only upto 80% protection against pregnancy. If your periods are overdue and you are having intermittent mild spotting then pregnancy needs to be ruled out using a kit easily available at all the pharmacies.
In case the pregnancy test is negative then you need to rule out vaginal infections by a vaginal swab culture as a cause of the spotting you are having.
