Can Duoluton Cause Nausea And Affect Period Duration?

My doctor prescribed me duoluton for the current cycle cause he wasn t happy with the length of my cycles and due to pcod but ever since I started I have been having strong nausea. Why is this happening? Alsobefore my periods started I had protected sex but for the sake of safety I took a contraceptive pill would that affect the lenght of my periods duration?

Hi,

Duoluton is an oral contraceptive pill that also helps in regularizing periods. It helps in period duration as well. Nausea is a common side effect of this drug. Tab. Ondem MD that is chewable will help you relieve nausea. You can take it after taking the Duoluton.

If you have severe headache and vomiting, then you need to consult a neuro-physician for further evaluation. Coming to the emergency contraceptive pill you have taken, that might influence your period duration but not much. Continue Duoluton as prescribed by your doctor.
