Brief Answer:
it can cause or worsen neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Neuropathy can occur or worsen in persons who use this type of antibiotic. This means that it can potentially worsen your neuropathy, it is possible that this may not occur for you but unfortunately this cannot be predicted.

Some persons do not have neuropathy with this medication.

If there is any other antibiotic at all that would treat your diarrhea, this should be tried first.

If not then you may have to balance the pros and cons and determine if you are going to try the ciprofloxacin.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
