Is Humira Or Xeljanz Best For Rheumatoid Arthritis?
Question: The drugs Humira and Jelanz for Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is better and which is cheaper?
Brief Answer:
I will go with Humira.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I will go with Humira as this has been around for long. So much about its functioning, efficacy, mechanism of action, side effects and how to manage them. In addition, we can anticipate any problems and adequately prevent them. I have more experienced using this and has been the first choice for my clients. As for the price, there shouldn't be any huge difference in the prices.
I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Feel free to as for more information and clarifications if need be.

Can you give me a dosage and related price to Humira?
Brief Answer:
About 1500dollars biweekly without insurance. 40mg/2weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Without insurance coverage, your will find this very expensive and about 1500$ every two weeks. With insurance, this is a lot cheaper. I don't know which applies to you. For the dosage, it is usually 40mg every two weeks.
I hope this helps.

This with my Medicare D Insurance would probably fall in the XXXXXXX 4 (43%) or XXXXXXX 5 (33%). I would hope that would be the case. So $3000 (1500) every 2 wks.
could be around $1000 or more and the Methotrexate I am now on went from (my
co-pay) $35 a yr.ago to $86 2 - 3 months ago to over $100 5 weeks ago for a 5 wk. supply. I take it only once a week. A Dr. I saw over a yr. ago wanted me to get on a Remicade plan but I decided to stay on the Methotrexate since I was moving to
another state and my current Rheumatologist has kept me on it but I feel it has lost
it's effectiveness. What are your thoughts about this Remicade). Your opinion will be appreciated.
