Question : Is Percocet an anti inflammatory?
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
Percocet is a combination of acetaminophen and oxycodone. It would have analgesic (pain reducing) and fever reducing properties (because of the acetaminophen) but would not have anti inflammatory properties.
Neither of these medications is considered anti inflammatory.
The possible side effects are dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, nausea, constipation and dry mouth. You may not experience any side effects.
Anti inflammatory pain killers would include medications such as ibuprofen, cataflam, celebrex, aspirin, naproxen, meloxicam, voltaren.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
