Question : My name is XXXX XXXXXXX I'm on prednisolone 25mg for the first time" I've taken it after my evening meal tonight I'm sensitive with things I take before I go to sleep foods and maybe tablets also keep me awake, would this medication do the same thing because normally Id be asleep by now. Would I be able to take it during the day.

It can cause sleep disturbance in some persons.

If possible, it would be best for you to take it in the morning.

Our bodies also produce steroids, they are released into our system in the morning. The levels of the body's steroids are highest soon after waking in the am and lowest at night.
Taking it in the morning would maintain your body's normal rhythm of steroid release.
This way when you discontinue the steroids, there would be no disturbance of this natural rhythm
