Brief Answer:
proper clinical studies lacking...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

the answer is probably yes but proper clinical studies are lacking. Many cosmetics are changed every so often to improve the products or for marketing reasons and they're not tested like drugs. So the truth is that we don't really know their long term effects. They don't seem to have any negative short-term effects though.

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
