Brief Answer:
is scabies possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
You can get rashes from viruses or bacteria. Itchy rashes can also happen from a small mite called scabies. If anyone else in the house has such a rash then talk to your pharmacist about a scabies treatment.
If it is from a virus then it will go away on its own and just keep the skin moist by using lotion and keep the skin cool, this will decrease the itching.
If it is spreading and becoming worse rapidly then it may be bacterial and in that case you would need to see a doctor for an exam and possibly antibiotics.
Let me know if you have further questions,
