Brief Answer:
Check in Lab again

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern.
Fasting sugar of 110 is not in diabetes range. However, > 100 and < 126 falls in pre diabetes range. I must say that, if you have checked it by a glucometer, check again in a lab along with an HbA1c . Glucometer is only a tool for monitoring sugars, not for diagnosis

Brief Answer:
FASTING GLUCOSE

Detailed Answer:
Glucometer should not be used for diagnosis.
Pizza can raise the sugar levels. but his levels were not alarming.
Please get a fasting glucose test and HbA1c in a lab. Based on that, we can plan further.
