Is Consuming Ecosprin And Norflox TZ Together Safe?
Question: Hi, My mother(68years) suffered from CVA brain in year 2010 and she is HTN,diabetic.She is on following medicines:
Post Breakfast: Seloken XL500, Nicardia R20& Neurobin
Post Lunch: Ecosprin 75
Post Dinner:Glycomet SR 1gm,Nicardia R20,Neurobin,Atorva 5mg
Day before yesterday she suffered from vomitings and diarrhea as she was travelling and have eaten from different places(case of infection).Doctor suggested to take following medicines
Norflox TZ two times a day for 3 days,Domstal 2 times a day for 1 day .My question is that is it safe to continue Ecosprin with Norflox TZ or shall we stop Ecosprin for couple of days.Please reply asap.

Thankyou Sir,I was worried because on internet i came across this that blood thinners (such as warfarin) can interact with the Antibiotics..

Yes there are certain interactions with some of the antibiotics but Norflox doesn't interact with Ecospirin.
Also know that Ecospirin is a very important drug for your mother, it reduces the risk of recurrent Stroke. So before thinking of Stopping Ecospirin think twice.
