Question: Is it possible to have endometriosis at the age of 70. I have had it all my life since I was
19 and also I know that I have an ovarian cyst which I have been nervous of having
Looked at for too many years. I have an upset stomach all the time - once a day and I
have recently lost 2and a half stone. I have had an endoscopy recently which was OK
and I wonder if endometriosis could still be growing and pressing on my bowel?

Endometriosis is hormone - mediated, it is quite rare to have it after menopause.
Rare, but not impossible.
2 - 4 % cases do occur in post menopausal women.

Since your endoscopy was normal, you would do well to have a gynaecological checkup.
A pelvic sonogram and MRI also should be done.
