Is Penis Length Genetically Determined?
I have the following complex questions-
1-Genetic Effect on Penis Size: What are the genes and hormones responsible for the penis size, testicle size and how much we inherit them from biological parents?
2-What percentage of genes and hormones play determinate factors for final penis size?
3-Why do doctors tends to avoid the Genetically related questions about on penis size and say there is nothing much can be done?
4-What are the genes that are responsible for final height and figures size of a human?
5-Why we cannot do much on Genetics related issues?
Regards
There is a lot we do not know but that does not undermine things we understand
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. There are about 100,000 or more genes in humans. Out of them 19,000-20,000 are known to be human protein-coding genes but the role of others is poorly understood. Furthermore, through the process of correlation we can tell that many aspects are genetic, but talking strictly, the exact genes which play the role, are not always understood precisely. In case of the genetics of penis size or testicle size, a systematic collection of data and step by step analysis for correlation is practically impossible since it would require numerous volunteers to cooperate with such sensitive data. As a result, precise details are hard to provide and that could be the reason that doctors cannot provide you with precise answers.
Even if we have answers to stuff like which genes are responsible for what, there is hardly anything that we could have actually been able to do. Specific genes have specific roles to play at specific junctures and a cascade of things follow. So things do not happen directly; things like growth and development happen in a chain of very minute events. It is practically impossible to simulate this process (the proces which is known as life). Hence, the process of genetics cannot be substituted. That is the reason we can hardly do anything in matters where genetics is involved.
On purpose I have not gone into the specifics of the scenario. If you have specific queries let me know and I will try to help you accordingly.

I am sorry to say that you failed to answer my questions.
Now let's talk about the genetic effect and hormonal effect on penis size, there are certain genes like homeobox (Hox a and d) genes which may have a role in regulating penis size.In humans, the AR gene located on the X chromosome at Xq11-12 which may determine the penis size.
The SRY Gene located on Y chromosome will have a role to play.
Deficiency of pituitary growth hormone and/or gonadotropins, mild degrees of androgen insensitivity can cause small penis size in males and is treated with can be addressed with growth hormone or testosterone treatment in early childhood.
I am sorry you are wrong by saying we can't do much, we can do much we can manipulate gene through genetic engineering, also we can treat the human who has smaller penis on the onset of puberty by growth hormone and testosterone replacement therapy, see there are so many things we can do.
But the thing is that not every parent has that much of knowledge about Genes and hormones also the doctors are responsible because they don't have much knowledge, they only know some stupids medicine and treatment. They afraid to answer the question on Penis size and it's genetic related things.
coming to my specific query, I am again sorry to say it is beyond your expertise which is my penis size is 5.1 inches only my testes are very small, hence it is not producing the enough testosterone which my body needs.(Here I am accusing my biological parent's Genes of my smaller penis size)
I also know about your answer to my query that size does not matter and average vaginal depth all the nonsense thing Doctors are habituated of saying that.
So give me the details about the Genetic effect on only Penis size.
Regards
Testosterone supplementation can be an easy way out
Detailed Answer:
I am sorry that I could not satisfy you with my answer. I am aware of the facts that you have pointed out but did not think that repeating them would be useful. It is widely understood that sex related genes are located on the X and Y chromosomes and that the male genes are located on the Y chromosomes, among them the SRY gene located on Y chromosome has a role to play. But still, this information does not really help. Incidentally, you are rather mistaken. Your penis size may not be attributable to the genome of either of your parents: it could be the influence of a gene that's yours alone and from neither parent. However, the fact that you have a penis is genetically determined, thanks to the Y chromosome inherited from your father.
Genetic engineering at this stage is unlikely to offer any benefits and nobody tries to get genetic engineering done on his offspring with penis size in mind. But I am quite certain that you would be willing to proactively implement in case of your male offspring once he comes into existence (he would be carrying your Y chromosome).
Anyway, the normal adult testes measure approximately 3 cm (AP) x 2-4 cm (TR) x 3-5 cm (length), with a volume of 12.5-19 cc^2. If you think that your testes are not producing adequate testosterone you can easily take testosterone supplements (injectable and oral). That should take care of the stuff.

I am sorry to say that I disagree with your answer.
You are challenging me on that fact.
You did not understand my questions properly and you appeared to be a bit of hurry to answer my query as quickly as you can with out researching the fact.
Again I am repeating my questions which were following:
My question was only based on genetic contribution on human penis size, also my question was not based on hormone and environmental factors?
How much in percentage genes contributed on human penis size?
Now let's include the Hormonal level and environmental factors and Diet. What are their roles on human penis size besides Genetics?
I did not ask you about normal testes size or testosterone treatment which I already knew which has a negligible effect on the long term, see here that's attitude of the doctors they only give the temporary suggestions.Which is highly unethical. The receptor and testosterone I am not going into details here but we can discuss that later on.
You said it is not beneficial to repeating your previous answer, then I find absolutely nothing on your previous answer it is just a bit of brief description which you gave on your first answer by overshadowing the main questions.
My questions still left unanswered about the details of genes which are playing an important part in determining penis size?
Coming to my query I don't need an answer because I already know the answer the phalloplasty jelqing etc.

Please check the mentioned link for yourself
Detailed Answer:
I have no intention of challenging you.
The medical knowledge base is based on the findings published in indexed journals. A search of PubMed (the central place for indexed journals) does not reveal the information you seek. I am just a naive doctor who can not 'invent' such an answer for you. You can look up the query directly at:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=((penis%5BTitle%5D)%20AND%20size%5BTitle%5D)%20AND%20gene%5BTitle%2FAbstract%5D

I only need the answer to genetic part,
Hi,
That's why I selected the Genetics Specialist. This is highly unprofessionalism.
The given link is invalid and doesn't open.
What do you mean by" I am just a naive doctor who can not 'invent' such an answer for you".
There is the answer to my asked question and it is an extensive list I can give you the list of the genes and their contribution but I have no intention to insult you here.
As I said before Doctors tends to avoid those questions because they don't have much expertise but there are exception some Doctors have that extensive knowledge to answer those types of questions
I am avoiding here to give the list of genes since you are unable to answer my questions.
Now coming to my original query my penis is 5.1 inch and unmarried haven't had sex yet, What are the skills needed for a good sex beside penis size?
My Testicle are small any treatment available make it bigger, the role of the testicle on sex?
I will not ask anything more as I will not expect anything from you I am sorry it was a very horrible experience to interact with you, I am sorry!
Regards
You could have had a normal sex life just like anyone else.
Detailed Answer:
By saying that I am just a naive doctor who cannot 'invent' an answer for you I did not undermine my knowledge of genetics, I just let you know that I can definitely sum up what doctors know but cannot comment on things that doctors do not know. Pointing to a gene locus would not solve your problem. I think that you are talking about a PhD in genetics (not a medical doctor) rather than a doctor with training in medical genetics. You would have to know what you seek. I understand that your knowledge of genetics is profound but with that knowledge, you could possibly treat yourself.
The erogenous spot of the female genital tract is close to the opening and therefore a long penis is not a requisite for sexual satisfaction. In fact, the inner part of the vagina is not sensitive and so a long penis will hardly make a difference in the sensation. Rather a prolonged sensuous foreplay improves the sexual satisfaction and arousal by leaps and bounds. I would not insist you to seek any sort of surgery. Had it been somebody will less profound knowledge of genetics, I would have insisted him not to fall for the huge array of penile enlargement bluffs that are all around. If your body image was less distorted and if your knowledge of genetics had not pushed you to the doom you could have had a normal sex life just like anyone else and you would have never felt a difference. You have not even faced a problem which you are trying to solve. 5.1 inch is just a very common (possibly not in your area) penis size and there is no reason to get concerned. Nevertheless, you have the right to get concerned about any of your body parts and are free to do whatever you want with it and doctors are definitely bound to comply.
You need to understand that people around you are not porn stars. They do not sport a long fancy penis. They have a sex life that is not as shown in the movies. But they have a rational expectation and have a healthy sex life wherein they hardly ever get to complain. You have the right to make a difference in your life as per your body image.
