Late conception is quite common these days

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand your concern.
I have gone through your query.
First of all congratulations for your pregnancy.

In my opinion getting pregnancy at the late age is quite common these days.

Studies and career are leading to late marriage and conception presently.

So nothing to worry regarding that.

I would like you to get regular antenatal check ups for a safe pregnancy and delivery.

All the late age pregnancies might not be associated with complications.

Let me know if you have any medical concerns like diabetes, hypertension or any other problems.

So relax.Avoid stress.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.

Brief Answer:
medications need to be changed

Detailed Answer:
Hi there good day.

I got your query.

I understand your concern.

The presence of hypertension before the onset of pregnancy is called chronic hypertension.

As per your information provided it appears that you are hypertensive and you are on atenolol, amlodipine, triamterene.

You are also on clonazepam which is a Anxiolytic .

All the above drugs come under category C and are not advisable to be taken during pregnancy.

So the other antihypertensives like methyldopa, propranolol, labetalol, nifedipine etc can be taken.

So I suggest you to see a physician for the rearrangement of the drugs and their doses.

Regular antenatal care should be taken like once in 2 weeks till 28 weeks of pregnancy and weekly after 28 weeks.

Avoid physical and mental stress.

Take low salt diet.

Nothing to worry.

Most of hypertension complicating pregnancies will have a favorable outcome on good management .

Kindly discuss with your treating physician regarding anti hypertensives.

Hope this satisfies your query.

Feel free to discuss further.

Best regards...Dr.Srilatha
